Eurest is seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at the prestigious Delta One Premium Lounge at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

This leadership role is ideal for hospitality professionals who thrive in luxury service environments and are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As the Assistant Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily lounge operations, lead front- and back-of-house teams, drive operational excellence, and support financial performance. You will help cultivate a culture of accountability, teamwork, and world-class hospitality while ensuring every guest receives an elevated lounge experience.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury hotels, fine dining restaurants, resorts, private clubs, or similar upscale hospitality environments.
  • Experience delivering Forbes Five-Star or equivalent luxury service standards
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience with demonstrated success in hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining high-performing teams.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience with scheduling, labor management, training, performance management, and team development.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling procedures.
  • Understanding of health, sanitation, and fire safety regulations related to food service operations.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to implement effective operational improvements.
  • Strong guest service focus with exceptional business etiquette and client relationship skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • ServSafe Manager Certification, Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification, or equivalent credentials preferred
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing daily lounge operations and delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Lead and support front-of-house and back-of-house food and beverage teams.
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and service excellence.
  • Foster a positive culture focused on hospitality, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with Compass Group policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Build strong relationships with guests, clients, employees, and cross-functional partners.
  • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to service and efficiency.
  • Partner with culinary leadership to ensure quality, consistency, presentation, and food safety standards are met.
  • Support financial objectives through budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash handling, and P&L management.
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
