Our client, a respected law firm specializing in legal recoveries and creditors' rights, is seeking an Attorney to join its growing Virginia Beach, Virginia based team. For more than two decades, the firm has represented financial institutions and creditors across multiple states, earning a reputation for delivering effective legal solutions and exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle litigation matters from inception through resolution.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and other legal documents.
  • 2/3 days on-site, primarily signing
  • Negotiate settlements and work toward efficient resolution of disputed matters.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and court appearances throughout your assigned territory (travel expenses reimbursed).
  • Partner with internal staff, clients, and opposing counsel to move cases forward effectively and professionally.
  • Maintain accurate case records and manage deadlines across multiple matters.
Qualifications
  • Active law license in the state of Virginia.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze cases and negotiate effective settlements.
  • Strong understanding of civil litigation practices and courtroom procedures.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.
  • Self-motivated professional capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with colleagues.
  • Strong analytical abilities, sound judgment, and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
