Job description

Drive lawn crew to multiple sites and supervise, participate in and coordinate activities of workers engaged in groundskeeping activities such as planting and maintaining trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns, and applying fertilizers, pesticides, and other chemicals. You will work under the direction of the project manager.

REQUIREMENTS

MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.

OWN AND BE ABLE TO OPERATE A CELL PHONE AND COMMUNICATE VIA TEXT OR PHONE CALL. 

SCHEDULE:

THURSDAYS 330PM TO 830PM

SATURDAY - TIME VARIES

SUNDAY - SUN UP TO SUN DOWN

OTHER DAYS AS ASSIGNED 

  • Enforce operating procedures and work standards that will ensure adequate performance and personnel safety.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure conformance to specifications, standards, and contract requirements.
  • Plant and maintain vegetation. 
  • Monitor and participate in project activities to ensure that instructions are followed, deadlines are met, and schedules are maintained.
  • Be able to train workers in tasks such as running a zero turn, operating weed eaters and edgers. pruning trees and shrubs.
  • Provide workers with assistance in performing duties as necessary to meet deadlines.
  • Inventory tools, equipment, and materials to ensure that sufficient supplies are available, and items are in usable condition before leaving the shop.
  • Recommend changes in working conditions or equipment use, to increase crew efficiency.
  • Install and repair concrete patches and curbs.
