Job description

The Oracle Fusion Platform Administrator is responsible for the overall administration, configuration, security, and operational stability of the Oracle Fusion Cloud platform, including ERP, HCM, SCM, and related services. This role ensures the platform remains stable, secure, performant, compliant, and aligned with business and IT governance standards while supporting ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and integrations.
The administrator serves as a key technical partner to functional teams, integration teams, infrastructure, security, and vendors to support enterprise business processes and maximize the value of Oracle Fusion Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Operations
  • Administer Oracle Fusion Cloud environments (Production, Test, Development), including setup, configuration, and environment refreshes.
  • Manage system availability, performance monitoring, and operational stability.
  • Coordinate Oracle quarterly updates, patches, and maintenance activities, including impact analysis and regression coordination.
  • Monitor system logs, scheduled jobs, and background processes to ensure optimal performance.

Security & Access Management
  • Administer Oracle Fusion user accounts, job roles, duty roles, and data security policies in accordance with approved access models.
  • Enforce segregation of duties (SoD) and security controls in alignment with audit and compliance requirements.
  • Partner closely with the Information Security and IAM teams to support authentication, provisioning, deprovisioning, SSO, and role design processes.
  • Support audits through evidence gathering, and remediation activities.

Configuration & Environment Management
  • Support Functional Setup Manager (FSM) configurations and platform'level setups.
  • Maintain technical configuration documentation, environment documentation, and change records.
  • Coordinate non-production environment refresh schedules, masking requirements, and testing readiness with business and IT teams.
  • Validate configuration consistency across environments and support post-refresh reconciliation activities.

Integration & Technical Support
  • Support Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other inbound/outbound integrations by managing:
    • Connectivity, certificates, keys, and endpoints
    • Scheduled integration jobs and monitoring dashboards
  • Coordinate with middleware and interface teams for issue resolution.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound integrations and support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Partner with Oracle Support and system integrators as needed.

Governance, Standards & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish and maintain platform administration standards, procedures, and runbooks.
  • Participate in change management, release management, and CAB processes.
  • Provide technical guidance to functional leads and project teams during new initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and improved platform controls.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience administering enterprise ERP or SaaS platforms.
  • 3+ years of hands'on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP, HCM, SCM, or EPM).
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Oracle Fusion Security (roles, privileges, data security)
    • Environment management and refresh processes
    • Oracle quarterly update lifecycle
  • Experience working in regulated or audit'driven environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Familiarity with SOX, HIPAA, or other compliance frameworks (as applicable).
  • Prior experience supporting large'scale ERP transformations or post'go'live operations.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) exposure.
  • Oracle certifications (Fusion Applications, Cloud, or Security) a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle Guided Learning preferred.
