Role Purpose
The LAV and Water Agent is responsible for servicing aircraft lavatory and potable water systems in a safe, timely, and efficient manner. This role ensures compliance with airline, airport, and regulatory standards while supporting on-time departures and overall operational excellence.
What you will be doing
  • Service aircraft lavatory systems, including draining waste tanks and replenishing chemicals

  • Refill potable water tanks according to airline and safety standards

  • Actively participate in the Safety Management System (SMS)

  • Operate specialized service vehicles and equipment safely on the ramp

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling of hazardous materials and PPE usage

  • Conduct pre- and post-operation equipment inspections and report any defects

  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation as required

  • Communicate effectively with ramp agents, supervisors, and flight crews

  • Ensure service is completed within designated turnaround times

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas

  • Adhere to all FAA, OSHA, and company policies and procedures

  • Perform other duties as requested

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to pass a background check and obtain airport security clearance

  • Must pass pre-employment drug test

  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and equipment operation

  • Previous ramp or ground service experience

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods

  • Comfortable working around aircraft noise and fumes

  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

  • Good communication and time management skills

  • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures

  • Reliability and punctuality

  • Airport ramp environment with exposure to noise, weather, and moving equipment

  • Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required
