The opportunity
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring seasonal Laundry Workers to join our team at Progressive Field in Cleveland, Ohio. If sorting and cleaning an ever-changing load with collaborative team members engages you, try giving our team a spin! As a Laundry Worker, you will be responsible for operating large commercial washers and dryers according to safety standards. Apply today to join our tight-knit team!

What will you do?
  • Operate and tend the machines, including washing and drying articles such as sheets, draperies, linens, and carpets, ensuring the correct volume of detergent, water, bleach, starch, and other additives is used as needed
  • Sort, count, and put away articles removed from dryers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry closet
  • Inspect soiled articles to determine sources of stains, locate color imperfections, and to identify items requiring special treatment
  • Record all loads washed and dried to calculate productivity, including loss of linens due to stains, tears, and wear

More about you
  • Ability to work effectively with others in fast-paced environments, using effective communication skills with guests and team members
  • Basic math skills
  • Laundry worker experience in a hotel or other high-volume location is beneficial
  • No experience or diploma required

Physical requirements
  • Exposure to varying temperatures depending on the weather and how many machines are in operation at any given time
  • Frequent standing, bending, walking, and lifting during shifts
