Location: Christiana Hospital - Newark Campus

Type: Full Time

Schedule: 4:00am - 12:30pm (8 Hr. Shifts)

🧹 What You'll Do:
  • Operate laundry equipment and process linens according to safety, sanitation, and infection control standards.
  • Clean and maintain patient and non-patient areas, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Remove and transport waste and soiled linens following established procedures.
  • Train and support team members on equipment use, chemical handling, and safety practices.
  • Assist with daily Housekeeping and Laundry operations, staff oversight, regulatory compliance, and maintenance reporting.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, teamwork, and compassionate customer service at all times.

  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift throughout your shift

This position has a starting rate of $17.75 per hour, regardless of prior experience. After six months of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $20.74 per hour. After one year of continuous employment, the hourly rate will automatically increase to $21.74 per hour.This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
