Duties and Responsibilities:
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleaning assigned areas. Provides Room Attendants with supplies, picks up soiled linen and trash, moves or adds furniture as requested.
  • Maintains the quality of washed, dried and folded room and table linen by following prescribed methods and procedures for sorting, washing, drying, folding and storing operations.
  • Informs the Executive Housekeeper of any deviations from the prescribed methods and procedures regarding the receipt of soiled linen from the Rooms or Food Departments.
  • Maintains the proper supply of cleaning materials.
  • Cleans the dryer filters and washer drain filters.
  • Keeps the laundry area clean and orderly at all times.
  • Stores and stocks room linen as instructed.
  • Reports any laundry equipment malfunctions promptly to the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Maintains a clean, pleasant and neat image.
  • Performs other duties as requested by the General Manager.
