Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our skilled nursing team. In this essential role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment while ensuring residents' personal laundry and facility linens are properly cared for.
Responsibilities
โ€ข Follow established housekeeping and laundry procedures to maintain a clean and organized facility
โ€ข Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute facility linens and residents' personal laundry
โ€ข Place soiled linens in washing machines and follow proper infection control procedures
โ€ข Fold, hang, and return residents' personal clothing to closets and drawers
โ€ข Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, and common areas
โ€ข Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely and efficiently
โ€ข Maintain housekeeping supplies and report equipment or maintenance concerns
โ€ข Follow all facility safety, sanitation, and infection control policies
