Job description

Responsibilities
We are building Sentinel's modern marketing function from the ground up. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Operations Manager is a critical hire - the person who builds the data, systems, and measurement backbone the entire function will run on. This is a rare greenfield opportunity to stand up the marketing technology stack and operating model the right way, from day one, rather than inheriting someone else's.
Why This Role
As the first hire on a new team, you won't be slotting into an existing machine - you'll be building it. The systems, definitions, and reporting you put in place will shape how Sentinel's marketing function operates and proves its value for years to come.
This is a full-time opportunity reporting onsite to our Downers Grove corporate headquarters.
What You'll Own:
Marketing Automation & Martech:
  • Lead the implementation and ongoing administration of HubSpot.
  • Own data hygiene, segmentation, list management, and governance across the stack.
  • Build and maintain nurture workflows, intent based triggers, lifecycle stages, and lead routing.

Lead Scoring & Attribution:
  • Design, launch, and continuously tune the lead scoring model.
  • Build a multi-touch attribution model that connects marketing activity to pipeline and revenue.
  • Partner with Sales to define and govern lead lifecycle stages (MQL / SQL) and SLAs.

Reporting & Analytics:
  • Stand up and maintain the marketing and pipeline performance dashboard.
  • Deliver recurring reporting on funnel health, campaign ROI, and marketing's contribution to pipeline.
  • Serve as the source of truth for marketing data and performance.
  • Integrate additional marketing data sources such as: google analytics/ads and linkedin ads as appropriate.

Year-One Mandate:
Success in the first year centers on putting the foundation in place:
  • Implement HubSpot.
  • Migrate and clean existing marketing and contact data.
  • Build the attribution model connecting activity to pipeline.
  • Stand up the pipeline and marketing performance dashboard.
  • Own execution of digital activities through HubSpot.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of HubSpot experience
  • 5-7 years of formal marketing experience
  • Experience with additional CRM systems a plus
  • Experience working within the Information Technology industry required
  • The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
  • A valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
  • Must demonstrate a "can-do" attitude

We focus on candidates that display our "ACE" factor - Attitude, Compassion, and Enthusiasm to deliver quality solutions with exceptional customer service.
Compensation:
$90,000-$120,000
What you get:
We offer an energetic work environment with many corporate culture amenities, competitive salary, and rich benefit plan including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, 529, Life Insurance, Income Protection Short and Long-Term Disability, Medical and Child/Elder Care, Flexible Spending Account Plans, Family Planning Benefits, Financial Education, Identity Theft Protection and Assistance, Legal Services, Employee Assistance Program, Two weeks' vacation, additional paid time-off for Personal and Sick, certification and hands-on training, and employee discount for product services and entertainment.
