What we need

Exolis seeking a high-judgment leader to serve as the Start-Up Operations Manager for our B2B sector. You will lead day-to-day execution for highly automated sites during pre-launch, go-live, and stabilization. As the operational owner at launch, you will ensure integrated capability testing and system performance meet rigorous 3PL demands.

Werequirea leader with deep B2B 3PL experience who can manage large-scale teams while project managing their business unit. You must be adept at translating complex automation workflows into repeatable launch playbooks that drive network scalability.

  • Operational Capability Testing: Execute Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) and integrated operational capability testing alongside engineering tovalidatethat system performance and automation meet B2B client requirements.
  • B2B Business Ownership: Serve as the primary operational owner for B2B warehouse functions during launch, managing all workflows from receiving andput-away to complex outbound shipping and value-added services.
  • Playbook Development: Support the creation and refinement of the launch playbook by documenting lessons learned and standardizing work processes for future site replicability.
  • Large-Scale Team Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day execution of warehouse operations, directing large teams of hourly associates and frontline leaders to achieve performance targets.
  • System Validation:ValidateWMS/WES functionality and monitor real-time system transactions to troubleshoot workflow bottlenecks and ensure data integrity.
  • Safety Leadership: Drive organizational safety protocols by enforcing OSHA compliance and conducting audits to ensure employees follow proper guidelines in a fast-moving start-up environment.

What we need

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 3PL Expertise:Minimum10years' experiencewith at least5 years of experience in 3PL B2B warehouse or distribution center operations, including leadership of large, diverse teams.
  • Advanced exposure to automated warehouse environments (robotics/MHE) and direct experience with WMS/WES platforms and RF scanning.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and experience driving safety protocols (e.g., LOTO and fall protection) with vendors and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive launch-critical KPIs, including throughput, accuracy, OEE, and cost-per-unit.
  • Strong ability to respond quickly to operational constraints and implement corrective actions in real time

Preferred

  • Project Management:Proven experience project managing business units through ramp-up or peak environments.
  • Automation Testing:Hands-on experience with operational testing and acceptance protocols for complex automated systems.
  • Process Improvement:Experienceidentifyinginefficiencies and implementing Lean improvements or standard work.

  • Up to 80% travel may berequired. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.
