Job description

PPS is seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator II for our state-of-the-art semiconductor industry fabrication facility in Chandler! This is a full-time permanent role with second-to-none benefits and a high ceiling for advancement!

Key Responsibilities:

· Set up and operate CNC lathes to manufacture precision components holding tolerances of ±.0005.

· Optimize programs and setups to improve efficiency and part quality.

· Deburr parts while the machine is running to maintain continuous workflow.

· Run multiple machines simultaneously when production demands allow.

· Clean and maintain equipment; perform routine preventive maintenance (PMs).

· Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area in accordance with 6S principles.

· Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.

· Use precision measuring instruments to verify part conformance to specifications.

· Record labor hours, job quantities, and other production data accurately using the labor tracking system.

· Complete assigned tasks and production goals on time while maintaining high quality standards.

· Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues and improve processes.

· Perform repetitive production work, running large batches of parts efficiently and consistently.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

  • Minimum 2–3 years operating CNC lathes in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in reading and understanding complex blueprints and GD&T.
  • Experience with GibbsCAM, Mastercam, and SolidWorks preferred.
  • Familiarity with CNC programming and program optimization a plus.
  • Strong understanding of tooling, speeds, feeds, and materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent attendance is required.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently manage multiple machines.
  • Haas CNC experience in a plus
