Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Join Our Team as a Loan Operations Specialist
First Federal is seeking a Loan Operations Specialist to support our loan processing and servicing team. This role plays a critical part in managing commercial, consumer, and mortgage loan documentation, processing, and customer support. The ideal candidate will have experience, strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and excellent customer service abilities. Located on-site with our team at our corporate headquarters in McMinnville, Oregon, this is not a remote position.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers in-person and by phone with loan account questions and inquiries.
  • Process payments, loan advances, and billing statements with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare documents using LaserPro.
  • Prepare and review commercial loan documentation utilizing LaserPro for various loan types while ensuring compliance.
  • Monitor escrow accounts, insurance, and tax payments.
  • Support loan funding and boarding processes with minimal oversight.
  • Review and process consumer credit reports and private mortgage insurance (PMI).
  • Assist with loan compliance, regulatory reporting, and document imaging.
  • Work closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain efficient loan operations.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in commercial and residential loan operations, banking, or financial services.
  • Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. LaserPro experience preferrerd.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of loan compliance regulations, loan documentation, commercial loan documentation, and servicing policies.
  • Customer Service: Ability to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams.
  • Preferred: Notary certification is a plus.
