Reassemble machinery and test for proper mechanical and safety operations before returning machinery to production for normal use.Operate lathes, mills, and drill presses to machine new parts for equipment repairs. Perform scheduled routine maintenance tasks, such as greasing bearings, checking fluid levels, and changing oil and filters to increase machinery reliability.Installation, setup, and startup of capital improvements.Fabrication and welding of new equipment, piping, catwalks, stairways, handrails, and ladders. Must have a working knowledge of hand and power tools. Must know how to use preventative/predictive maintenance tools. Must be well versed in the operations of all plant machinery.Must be well organized.
