Position Overview The Senior VDC/BIM Specialist ensures digital construction models are accurate, coordinated, and compliant from preconstruction through construction. Reporting to the Roseville BIM Manager, this role drives VDC/BIM excellence and supports multi‐disciplinary collaboration. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Develop detailed Revit models from concept to construction levels. Coordinate BIM models with architects, engineers, and trade contractors. Manage model distribution via BIM 360, ACC, and Revizto. Perform clash detection and constructability reviews, resolving issues proactively. Model concrete, architectural, and MEP components for self‐performed work. Facilitate BIM coordination meetings and document minutes, agendas, and action plans. Conduct comprehensive model reviews for completeness and compliance. Provide feedback using Revizto, ACC, Procore, and other platforms. Create 3D models for quantity surveying, sequencing, and 4D scheduling. Generate and distribute field construction documents such as composite drawings and equipment pad layouts. Coordinate post‐construction activities, delivering federated models, native files, and BIM deliverables. Perform model clean‐up and detailing to reflect as‐built conditions. Administer and maintain access to BIM 360 and Revizto, ensuring version control. Review design changes, BIM revision logs, and sign‐off models for accuracy. Manage storage, reviewing uploads for proper naming and frequency. Develop and distribute model analytics. Support reality capture by integrating laser scanning, drone footage, and 360° captures. Evaluate and implement BIM AI solutions to improve model health. Train and mentor internal team members on BIM/VDC tools and workflows. Act as a technical resource, providing insights to improve project efficiency. Required Job Skills Strong expertise in Revit, Navisworks, Revizto, and BIM 360. Proven ability to lead coordination, resolve constructability issues, and support self‐performed workflows. Excellent organizational, time‐management, and problem‐solving skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for client and team engagement. Proficiency in processing laser scans, drone footage, and 3D data. Demonstrated innovation in VDC/BIM best practices. Passion for continuous learning and technical excellence. Education and Experience Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field. Experience as MEP Coordinator, VDC/BIM specialist, or related role.
