Job description

Job Summary:
Client is seeking a Senior Dimensional Analyst Technician to perform dimensional analysis, CMM measurements, 3D laser scanning, and technical reporting for automotive components and complete vehicles. The ideal candidate will have strong CMM, CAD, metrology, and dimensional inspection experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform dimensional measurements using CMM arms and 3D laser scanners
  • Measure automotive components, hard points, and complete vehicles
  • Set up and tear down components/vehicles on surface plates
  • Troubleshoot CMM hardware and software
  • Perform CMM calibration and maintenance
  • Prepare dimensional analysis reports for engineering and customers
  • Interpret technical drawings and dimensional documents


Required Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of CMM, CAD, metrology, or related experience preferred for Senior level
  • Strong knowledge of automotive components
  • Experience with CMM measurement and 3D scanning
  • Ability to interpret technical dimensional documents
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
