Procedure Center RN. Start date: must be able to start 7/20. 4x10s: 06:00 - 16:30. General surgery experience required; fast paced environment; needs EMR experience verified. Certs req: ACLS, PALS, BLS. Inpatient/outpatient pediatrics patients (adults on rare occasions). Years experience req: 2 - acute or outpatient experience is accepted as long as the candidate has the required experience in the majority of the specialties. First timers accepted: no. Call req: y; 5 weekdays and 2 weekend shifts per 6 week schedule. Float req: n. Weekend coverage: y. Documentation: Surginet (Cerner). Minor surgical cases: ENT, plastics, gen surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, oncology. Candidate should have the majority of the specialty experiences listed. Patient age groups: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics. Daily census: 35-40. Number of rooms: 6. Interdisciplinary support: not specified. Patient diagnoses: pediatric patients 1 day to 24 years of age - inpatient and outpatient. Adult patients on rare occasions (BMT harvesting). Special procedures/unit details: minor surgical cases: ENT, plastics, gen surgery, ophthalmology, urology, dentistry, oncology. Candidate should have the majority of the specialty experiences listed.
