Shift: ย Days-20 hours per week, no weekends, no holidays and no on callย 
Location: Cottage, Grosse Pointeย

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning,ย implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator.

Cottage is a 4 room Ambulatory OR with operational times of 7a-4p. The siteย covers a wide range of services such as:ย 
- Ortho: Sports Medicine, Total hips and knees, Podiatry and Handย 
- Plastics: Breast augmentation, Breast Reduction, Liposuction, Face lifts andย laser surgeryย 
- Ophthalmology: Cataract, Retinal and Ocular Plasticย 


The site is open Monday- Friday with no weekend, holiday or call requirement.ย

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:ย 

Must Have 1+ Years Experience Circulatingย 

Ability to Scrub in the Operating Room Desirable


- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- One year of OR experience is requiredย 
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.ย 
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registeredย Nurse.ย 
- Successful completion of HFMG Pharmacology test.ย 
- Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty.ย 
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effectiveย nursing care plans.ย 
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.ย 
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and medical groupย personnel.ย 
- Preferred experience in the specialty.ย 
- Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills
