2ND & 3RD SHIFT ASSEMBLY / LASER MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN'S NEEDED - LANSING, MICHIGAN AREA
A Leading Automotive Supplier in the Lansing, Michigan area needs 2nd and 3rd Shift Assembly / Laser Maintenance Technician's. These are Full Time, Permanent, Direct Hire Positions offering Competitive Compensation, Bonus Potential, Good Benefits, Paid Holidays and Paid Vacation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Assembly Laser Maintenance Technician role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on advanced automotive assembly and robotic laser welding equipment. It requires a mix of electrical, mechanical, and automation skills to ensure high-uptime production.
Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on production machines.
Performing scheduled preventative maintenance to prevent unexpected downtime.
Working with robotic applications (such as ABB robotics).Responding to emergency/unscheduled equipment breakdowns on the assembly line.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED required. An Associate's Degree in Mechatronics or a related field is typically preferred.
At least 5 years of Manufacturing Experience, specifically within the Automotive Industry, working on Metal Stamping / Assembly or Automation Equipment.
Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics, use multi-meters, and use precision measuring tools.
