Trumpf Laser Programmer (5-Axis) – 1st Shift Manufacturing | Sterling Heights, MI

Location: Sterling Heights, MI
Shift: 1st Shift (Day Shift)
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Trumpf Laser Programmer with 5-axis programming expertise to join our manufacturing team in Sterling Heights, MI. This role requires both online and offline programming experience and hands-on knowledge of Trumpf laser systems. This is a great opportunity to join a strong company offering 100% employer-paid benefits starting on day one.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program and operate Trumpf laser cutting machines, including 5-axis laser systems

  • Develop and optimize CNC laser programs (online and offline)

  • Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and blueprints

  • Set up jobs, tooling, and machine parameters for precision cutting

  • Troubleshoot programming and machine issues to ensure production efficiency

  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes

  • Maintain quality standards and ensure parts meet specifications

  • Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives

Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience as a Laser Programmer in a manufacturing environment

  • Strong experience with Trumpf laser equipment (required)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
