Laser Cutting Machine Operator

Charlotte, NC
$25-$30/hour (based on experience)

Skilled Trades Services is hiring an experienced Laser Cutting Machine Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Charlotte.

Requirements
  • Previous laser cutting machine experience is required.
  • Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:
    • Bystronic
    • Trumpf
    • Mitsubishi
    • Cincinnati
    • Amada
    • Hankwank (HK)
  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
  • Experience with tube lasers, plasma, or waterjet equipment is a plus.
Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate fiber laser cutting machines.
  • Monitor quality and make machine adjustments as needed.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
