HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MACHINE OPERATOR IN AURORA, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Machine Operator to join our team in Aurora, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for operating the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, selecting and setting up lenses based on material type and thickness, and more listed below. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2 years’ experience in 2D laser cutting operation, and more listed below. Apply online and kickstart your career today!

Pay, Schedule, and Location
  • Starting at $19.50/hour
  • Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
  • 2nd shift Monday-Friday 2 PM-10:30 PM
  • Located in Aurora, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate the CNC laser cutting machine and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators
  • Select and set up lenses based on material type and thickness, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
  • Unload machine sort, count, organize and package cut parts
  • Performs machine setups, adjusting and loading tooling, and making changes at the controls for parts as required for specifications set forth in blueprints, drawings, engineering orders, etc
  • Skilled in organizing work area before and after parts are processed, stacking completed parts
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Inspect all manufactured parts following work in process inspection methods and ensure to accomplish engineering specifications.
  • Safely remove a jam from equipment without risk or injury or damage to the equipment • Reports all machine malfunctions to Management.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • At least 2 years’ experience in 2D laser cutting operation
  • Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training documents
  • Solid background working with sheet metal
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in an effective way
  • Ability to work unsupervised or with minimal supervision while meeting all product quality requirements.
  • Basic math skills i.e. algebra, geometry and trigonometry required
  • Ability to use computer to operate specialty programs
  • Knowledge of how to program and run machine to cut specific part
  • Ability to read blueprints and work orders
  • Open minded, positive mindset
  • Personal and social skills
  • Dependability, readiness to take on responsibility, commitment, willingness to learn, goal- and results-oriented, ability to communicate, ability to work in a team
