Job description

Department: Maintenance
Shift: Day
Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, and work as needed
Summary:
This position is responsible for performing skilled, technical, and creative work designing and manufacturing a variety of signs utilized throughout the Baptist Health system, including hospitals and clinics. This position manages the sign shop workflow, equipment, and records. This position also utilizes creative suite programs and large-format printing and fabrication equipment.
Other information:
  1. Education - High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
  2. Experience - Four (4) years' experience in sign fabrication or equivalent.
  3. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities - Thorough knowledge of digital imaging, graphic design, and computer-aided graphics work; General knowledge of sign fabrication; skills in sign printing application and process, operating standard office equipment and standard office software; skill in operating sign plotter and printer; ability to plan, organize, and prioritize design and sign fabrication requests

This job will be authorized 80.00 hours bi-weekly.
