Welcome to Love's: Production finishing responsibilities include the finishing and assembling of signage that is produced with digital large format printing equipment as well as packaging and palletizing rollouts for shipping up to 600+ locations. The appropriate candidate should possess the following qualities: strong attention to detail, schedule/deadline management, and quality control/quality assurance skills.
Job Functions:
  • Checks job set-up parameters with the job ticket specifications to ensure accurate finishing
  • Uses job management software to review schedules and production priorities
  • Reads and interprets kit lists to accurately package multi-item rollout shipments
  • Kits and packages boxes for rollouts that ship to 600+ locations at a time
  • Performs basic spreadsheet editing and data entry to support shipment processing and tracking
  • Packs signage/products using standard bubble or foam wrap and box according to size requirements
  • Packs and bands pallets using standard materials and protectors
  • Constructs custom size pallets using standard lumber and hardware
  • Carries out fabrication and finishing on new and completed print jobs
  • Performs laminating, trimming, sanding, taping, coiling, binding and other finishing operations as required
  • Performs installation of vinyl graphics, dimensional lettering, signage components, and other graphic elements as required
  • Communicates with supervisor and senior press crew to verify production schedules and instructions
  • Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly and organized condition
  • Performs material handling and deliveries as directed by supervisor

Experience and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Work experience in a production or packaging environment a plus

Skills and Physical Demands:
  • Strong verbal and oral communication skills, keen attention to detail, ability to multi-task, strong organizational skills, flexible and self-motivated to take on additional tasks
  • Must be a team player that is detail-orientated and thorough in completing work tasks.
  • Requires prolonged standing along with repetitive bending and stooping motions
  • Lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Requires normal range of hearing, vision and motion
  • Shift work is common, as is overtime in order to meet
