Position Title: Graphics Logistics Specialist

Location: St. Charles, MO

Position Summary

The Graphics Logistics Specialist is responsible for supporting shipping, receiving, inventory, and material movement activities within the Graphics department while helping across multiple facilities and functional groups as needed. This position ensures accurate packaging, handling, tracking, and movement of materials and finished products to meet customer expectations, quality standards, and production schedules.

The successful candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining inventory accuracy while ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are processed safely, efficiently, and without damage. Previous graphics industry experience is preferred but not required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following company safety policies, OSHA standards, and proper use of PPE.
  • Construct custom crates, containers, and protective packaging for oversized, irregular, and specialty products.
  • Prepare, label, package, and ship products to meet customer specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Load, unload, receive, inspect, and verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and required documentation.
  • Maintain shipment traceability and comply with company procedures, ISO quality standards, and shipping requirements.
  • Perform inventory control activities, including cycle counts, inventory transactions, and material tracking.
  • Store, move, and deliver materials and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material handling equipment.
  • Coordinate shipments, local pickups, and deliveries with internal departments, vendors, and carriers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping area.
  • Support warehouse, logistics, graphics, and other operational activities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of previous experience in shipping and receiving.
  • 1+ years of previous experience in material handling.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to accurately complete shipping and inventory documentation.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be willing to travel and manage projects at remote locations, as needed (~15%).
    • Valid state driver's license and a clean driving record.
    • Demonstrate safe driving practices while driving company vehicles or when driving your personal vehicle on behalf of the company.
  • Must demonstrate a consistent and stable work history, strong follow-through, and strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred

  • Prior experience constructing and assembling custom crates, containers, and protective packaging for oversized, irregular, and specialty products.
  • Experience in the graphics, printing, signage, or large-format graphics industry.
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified.
  • Class E license (also referred to as a Chauffer's license).
  • Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.

Physical Requirements

  • Physical ability to stand up to 8+ hours per day.
  • Must have the ability to hear and respond to auditory signals, distinguish tones and pitches in equipment, and use hearing protection during specific tasks.
  • Physically able to move and transport up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, grip and move fingers/hands.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, stoop, squat, kneel, climb, balance, and reach overhead.
  • Vision abilities required by this job include close and/or color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, and ear protection.
