Job description

Under general direction, the Large Format Finisher is responsible for turning printed pieces into finished products. This includes operating machines and hand tools that combine a number of actions such as hand trimming, cutting different types of material, weeding, laminating, mounting and packaging in our Farmingdale, NY facility.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Analyze all aspects of each job based on information from the job ticket; develop plan to execute job, ensure job ticket instructions and specific process work instructions are completed correctly.

Experience in mounting, laminating and finishing.

Must be able to read and comprehend job tickets.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Detailed oriented.

Ability to multitask and maintain a positive attitude under tight deadlines.

Must be able to work independently as well as with others.

Knowledge of basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing whole numbers and fractions, use of a ruler).

Requires long periods of time standing.

Must be able to lift up to 40lbs independently and 80lbs with assistance.
