Print Production & Customer Solutions Specialist
 
Are you a print-production pro who knows your equipment, has prepress skills, loves solving problems, and takes pride in delivering great work?
 
Repro Graphix is looking for an experienced Print Production & Customer Solutions Specialist to join our fast-paced, creative team.
 
This is a hands-on print production position for someone who is comfortable running and maintaining a variety of small and large-format digital printing equipment, troubleshooting when things don't go as planned, managing multiple priorities, and providing exceptional customer service.
 
What You'll Do
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot a variety of small and large-format digital print equipment
  • Produce high-quality work while keeping projects on schedule
  • Manage multiple print jobs and customer requests simultaneously
  • Communicate directly with customers to understand their needs, answer questions, solve problems, and follow projects through to completion
  • Prepare and preflight files for production
  • Manage RIPs, print layouts, cut files, color, and media usage
  • Perform finishing including mounting, laminating, cutting, trimming, weeding, punching, and binding
  • Perform quality control and proofreading
  • Prepare orders for pickup and shipment
  • Anticipate production challenges and find practical, efficient solutions
  • Keep equipment and production areas organized and operating efficiently
What We're Looking For
 
Experience matters. We're looking for someone who can step into a busy print environment and contribute from day one.
Experience we are seeking:
·        Hands-on experience operating digital print production equipment
·        Experience with RIP software, color management, Pantone, CMYK, and RGB color 
·        Experience with small and/or large-format printing
·        Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
·        Knowledge of specialty substrates
·        Finishing services – mounting, laminating, cutting & weeding/punching & binding
·        Excellent customer service and communication skills
·        The ability to juggle multiple jobs, deadlines, and customer needs 
·        Strong attention to detail and quality
·        Excellent organizational and time-management skills
·        A dependable, take-ownership attitude
·        Prepress and print-layout experience
·        Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
