About the Position: As a Document Translation and Cultural Language Analyst, you will work as part of a collaborative team supporting government clients. You will be responsible for translating a wide range of materials including official documents, digital communications, media reports, and open-source information from the foreign language into English. Your work will help inform research and project management activities, requiring both accuracy in translation and the ability to provide relevant cultural context.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic, Hebrew, Pashtu, Dari, Kurdish, or Turkish (read, write, and comprehend at the high school level or above)
  • Certification by an independent, state, or federal organization as a language translation authority
  • Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) proficiency of at least 3 in Reading, Speaking, Listening, and Writing
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
Education: Bachelor's degree (BS or BA) in any discipline
