Job description


Language Link Therapy is seeking a dedicated and energetic Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is passionate about working with children, particularly those with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorder.
The SLPA will provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist across a variety of settings, including daycares, preschools, ABA centers, and our clinic.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement speech and language therapy treatment plans developed by supervising SLP
  • Provide direct therapy services to pediatric patients (ages 18mos -10 primarily)
  • Accurately document sessions and maintain timely SOAP notes
  • Collaborate with SLPs, ABA therapists, teachers, and caregivers to ensure carryover of skills
  • Assist in preparing therapy materials and activities
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding progress and home strategies
  • Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company standards

Schedule Structure (Typical):
  • ABA Center ( 2-3 days per week early afternoon-5:30pm)
  • Early morning: Daycares/Preschools (8:30/9:00 AM - 11:30 AM)

This position is specifically seeking an SLPA to assist with our partner center in Miami Gardens.The center currently has an established caseload of kiddos starting early afternoon running through the end of the day.For those who want a full-day caseload, we can provide scheduled sessions at daycares/preschools during morning hours.This is not required, however.
Requirements
  • Active Florida SLPA license
  • Experience working with pediatric populations (required)
  • Experience with ASD strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage a dynamic schedule
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
  • A minimum of one year licensed and working as an SLPA
