Position Overview

Global Impact Group LLC is seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager to oversee language service operations, including translation, transcription, and interpreting projects. This role is critical to ensuring seamless project execution, high-quality deliverables, and exceptional client satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing linguists and vendors, handling multiple projects simultaneously, and ensuring timely delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end execution of translation, transcription, and interpreting projects
  • Coordinate and supervise linguists, interpreters, and external vendors
  • Ensure on-time delivery of all assigned projects while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain rapid and professional communication with clients
  • Oversee assigned contracts and ensure compliance with scope, timelines, and requirements
  • Monitor project workflows and proactively address risks or delays
  • Ensure all deliverables meet ISO-quality standards and client expectations
  • Track project performance, deadlines, and vendor productivity
  • Collaborate with internal teams (scheduling, QA, accounting) to ensure smooth operations
  • Maintain accurate records in project management and scheduling systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Project Management, Linguistics, or related field (preferred)
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in language services
  • Experience managing translation, transcription, and interpreting projects
  • Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 / ISO 17100 standards is a plus
