Description
LTC Language Solutions is looking for an American Sign Language Scheduling Coordinator who loves American Sign Language; has education, training or professional background in American Sign Language; appreciates juggling multiple tasks daily; thrives in fast-paced environments; and provides excellent customer service under pressure.ย 
The best candidate for this role is someone who is passionate about providing language access, eager to learn how an interpreting agency is run, can juggle multiple projects / assignments at one time, and is flexible.
Here is what you get to do:

  • Answer phones and take requests from clients
  • Data entry of appointment information
  • Provide phone customer service to clients, vendors and interpreters
  • Schedule appointments for same day and future appointments for ASL requests
  • Communicate with interpreters regarding available appointments
  • Provide confirmations and appointment information to clients via email and phone
  • Update interpreter and client information in LTCโ€™s database
  • Ensure language access is provided
  • And last but not least, build relationships with LTCโ€™s interpreters and clients to provide exceptional customer service

Requirements

  • 2+ years of customer experience focused on telephone customer service
