Job Overview

The Landscape Installation Technician is a hands-on role supporting our installation crews. This position works closely with Crew Leaders and Management to ensure all work is completed to company and industry standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about building and maintaining beautiful, ecological landscapes.

You’ll help install and maintain a wide range of landscape features—from lawns and garden beds to hardscapes and irrigation systems—while contributing to a professional, team-focused work environment.


Pay & Schedule
  • Pay Rate: $19–$22 per hour (based on experience)

  • Employment Type: Full-Time

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM (weekends as needed)


Responsibilities
  • Meet with Crew Leaders and Management daily to review job assignments and priorities

  • Assist with landscape installations including:

    • Flower and landscape beds

    • Raised garden beds

    • Sod installation

    • Paver patios

    • Irrigation systems

    • Landscape lighting and other hardscape features

  • Perform hands-on labor such as weeding, pruning, edging, transplanting, laying sod, and removing plants or hardscapes

  • Operate gas-powered equipment safely and efficiently

  • Apply pesticides to control pests such as mosquitoes, wasps, and ticks

  • Perform general maintenance tasks including cleaning walkways and maintaining fountains

  • Trim and edge around walkways, flower beds, walls, hedges, and trees

  • Ensure tools and materials are available and onsite for each job

  • Maintain a clean, professional, and safe job site at all times


Qualifications
  • Previous experience in landscape installation, hardscaping, organic gardening, or carpentry 

  • Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and hedge trimmers

  • Knowledge of basic lawn maintenance and pest management

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

  • Commitment to completing work safely and efficiently

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor outdoors
