Landscape Architect Project Manager - Tampa, FL
Halff has an immediate opening for a Landscape Architect Project Manager in the Tampa, FL office.
The successful incumbent will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary and supportive team of landscape architects, planners, and others, to provide management and oversee a broad range of public and private landscape architectural projects.
An ideal candidate will bring targeted, relevant project experience to include Park, Recreation and Trail Planning and Design; Urban Park, Plaza, Streetscape and Transportation enhancements; Land Development; and support large-scale planning projects.

What you will do:
  • Effectively collaborates with design teams and consultants through every phase of the process from initial conception through construction.
  • Proactively facilitates open communication, establishes and nurtures relationships, and anticipates needs to ensure tasks contribute directly to the broader scope of the project and departmental goals.
  • Methodical approach to lead teams for the purpose of functioning from a structured process that includes planning, monitoring and execution, and adhering to company guidelines and specific project criteria.
  • Forward thinking approach to anticipate expanding client's needs to support existing and anticipated project needs.
  • Willingness to travel periodically, primarily in state to support project needs.
What you will need:
  • 5+ years of experience demonstrating leadership skills, minimum, as a Professional Landscape Architect.
  • Bachelors of Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university.
  • Florida registration as a Professional Landscape Architecture, or the ability to acquire registration within a year period.
  • Proficient with computer applications including AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
  • Possesses knowledge base and familiarity preparing proposal/scope of work documents and reviewing invoices/submitting.
  • Knowledgeable in the production of CD sets including FDOT, hardscape, planting, construction details, specifications, and bidding packages.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing for the purpose of conveying pertinent information and relevant details, ideas, and thoughts clearly and concisely, using both spoken and written language.
  • Hands-on experience in master planning of parks, trails, and recreation is a plus.
  • Exposure and familiarity with FDOT landscape design is a plus.
  • Exceptional ability to prioritize tasks and remain structured, and well organized.
  • Meticulous attention to detail oriented, and highly motivated.
  • Possess excellent design skills.
