Level Green Landscaping is currently hiring for an Enhancements Operations Manager for our Montgomery County Branch. As the enhancement operations manager, your role will encompass overseeing a wide range of landscape installations. You’ll be responsible for managing and training crews, handling material procurement, and coordinating with subcontractors. This position requires a hands-on approach and strong leadership to deliver exceptional results across diverse project scopes successfully. Requirements

As an Enhancements Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Safety: Responsible for keeping crews safe. Perform daily tasks safely, using all tools and equipment according to company safety policies.
  • Knowledge: Strong horticultural knowledge with a landscaping and construction background, focused specifically on providing top-notch flower, softscape, and hardscape installations
  • Training: Responsible for providing in-field training for your teams. Participate in required training programs.
  • Machinery Operation: Expertise in the use of skid steers, loaders, chainsaws, chippers, grinders, ditchwitches, mini-excavators, etc.
  • Quality Service: Ensure high-quality standards by adhering to industry best practice guidelines
  • Efficiency: Train your team on lean principles and removing waste.
  • Employee Development: Develop a clear understanding of your teams’ strengths, weaknesses, and professional and personal goals. Take an active role in their development within the company.
  • Staffing: Responsible for staffing your team. Collaborate with the Branch Manager to determine and address staffing needs. Maintain a constant recruiting effort to address personnel needs.
  • Inspection and Planning: Inspect properties, projects, and daily work prior to scheduling to anticipate and address any potential challenges, as well as ensure client expectations and quality standards are met.
  • Coordination: Oversee all aspects of project execution, including the sourcing and purchasing of materials, field employees, equipment, and subcontractors for landscape and snow-related projects.
  • Administration: Maintain accurate administrative tracking systems, including time approvals, work ticket completions, purchasing of materials, timely processing of purchasing orders, and scheduling.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Assist in planning, developing, and leading strategic initiatives for enhancement projects.
  • Collaboration: Attend production and team meetings, collaborate and engage with account managers and vendors. Recommend additional work and help exceed the branch's financial goals.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrating strong technical capabilities as well as the ability to learn the company's software applications, such as Aspire.
  • Exceptional Service: Deliver accurate, timely, and high-quality service to clients, vendors, and company staff.
  • Policy Compliance: Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

You may be a good fit if you’re:

    • At least 21 years old and available to work Saturdays and in various weather conditions.
    • Possess strong enthusiasm, dependability, and time management skills.
    • Are proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs.
    • Can effectively communicate with clients and work collaboratively within a team.
    • Have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and can lift over 50 lbs.
    • Are eager to learn and use the company software.
    • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.
