Job description

We’re looking for a hard-working landscaper to join our team. You’ll follow the instructions of the crew leader to take care of our customers’ landscaping needs, including mowing, raking, mulching, edging, fertilizing, pruning, and overall lawn care and maintenance duties. Applicants should be team players with industry experience who are proud of a job well done.

Compensation:

$12 - $22 hourly


Responsibilities:
  • Help the crew team with landscape design, landscape installation, landscape construction, and landscape maintenance
  • Apply pesticide as needed for weed control
  • Keep flower beds looking pristine with a sprinkler or irrigation system
  • Create daily reports of completed work
  • Make sure lawn care, groundskeeping, and lawn maintenance duties are completed including mulching, mowing, weeding, fertilizing, raking, edging, and pruning
  • Assist in installing hardscapes (paver patios, retaining walls, steps, etc.)
  • Perform planting, mulching, edging, and other softscape tasks
  • Operate skid loaders, mowers, and other landscaping equipment
  • Load/unload materials and clean up job sites
  • Follow directions from crew leaders and project managers
  • Show up on time, ready to work, and contribute to a team environment

Qualifications:
  • Educational requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Driver’s license or reliable transportation to and from the work site
  • 2+ years of experience as a landscaper for residential or commercial properties
  • Must be a hard-worker with high attention to detail and have a strong work ethic
  • Strong working knowledge of hand tools and maintenance equipment including edgers, blowers, clippers, chain saws, rakes, hedge trimmers, and lawnmowers
