Village Green Landscapes is currently hiring for Landscape Crew Member-Driver at our New Brighton, Brooklyn Park and Savage locations.
Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00 DOE
Benefits: Paid Sick Time
Possibility for year-round employment, if you are interested in commercial snow removal in the winter months.
* Full-time Benefits eligibility with year-round employment.
POSITION SUMMARY
This position serves as a key team member to ensure all landscape projects are completed in a manner that exceeds the customer expectation. Our Landscape Crew Member-Driver works in crews to complete landscape installs per job specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ability to perform tasks related to softscape install such as mulch, sod, and plant material installation
  • Assists other crew members in hardscape installation
  • Loading and unloading materials and equipment at job site
  • Provides excellent customer service
  • Works collaboratively with the team and company leadership
  • Demonstrates timely and effective communication- verbal, non-verbal, and written
  • Communication and behavior are consistent with company values
  • Demonstrates high quality decision making in a fast paced and quickly evolving environment
  • Ability to perform or help perform tasks related to our landscape build and install projects, including retaining walls, patios, bed prep, planting, and mulch
  • Demonstrates safe and proficient operation and maintenance of equipment use for landscape projects
  • Proficient in the use of various operating systems and technology to track and report jobs
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 18+ years of age
  • Must be able to pass a pre- employment drug test
  • 1+ years of landscape installation experience
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Valid DOT card or ability to obtain one
