Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to support daily field operations for a fast growing landscaping contractor company in Florida. This role is responsible for coordinating crews, equipment, materials, deliveries, fleet scheduling, and vendor logistics to ensure projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with field teams and vendors, and has experience supporting construction, landscaping, or service operations.


Key Responsibilities

Operations amp; Scheduling

  • Coordinate daily schedules for landscaping crews and field supervisors
  • Dispatch crews, trucks, trailers, and equipment to job sites
  • Monitor route efficiency and adjust schedules as needed
  • Coordinate emergency or weather-related schedule changes
  • Support multi-site project logistics across Florida service areas

Equipment amp; Fleet Coordination

  • Track company vehicles, trailers, and equipment utilization
  • Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and maintenance
  • Coordinate repairs and preventive maintenance with vendors
  • Maintain fleet records, registrations, and service logs

Materials amp; Vendor Management

  • Coordinate deliveries of mulch, plants, irrigation supplies, sod, and hardscape materials
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding delivery timing and inventory availability
  • Monitor material shortages and assist with procurement requests
  • Verify delivery tickets and job site inventory accuracy

Communication amp; Administrative Support

  • Serve as liaison between operations managers, field crews, vendors, and customers
  • Maintain accurate scheduling and dispatch records
  • Update work orders, job status, and service notes in company systems
  • Assist with permit tracking and project documentation as needed

Safety amp; Compliance

  • Support DOT and fleet compliance documentation
  • Assist with maintaining driver files and vehicle inspections
  • Ensure crews receive updated jobsite and safety information
Qualifications

Required

  • 2+ years of logistics, dispatching, scheduling, or operations coordination experience
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced contractor environment
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Valid driverโ€™s license

Preferred

  • Experience in landscaping, construction, field services, or transportation industries
  • Knowledge of fleet management and dispatching systems
  • Familiarity with Florida roadway and service areas
  • Experience with Aspire, LMN, ServiceTitan, or similar operations software
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
