To thrive as a Landscape Professional, you need knowledge of horticulture, site planning, and landscape design principles, often supported by a degree in landscape architecture or horticulture. Familiarity with design software like AutoCAD, GIS systems, and landscape construction tools is typically expected, along with relevant certifications such as CLARB or state licensure for landscape architects. Strong communication, creativity, and project management skills help professionals collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
