Your Responsibilities as a Skid steer Operator - Landscape Installation Team


ยท Manage the Field โ€“

o You are quite literally the boots on the ground. Youโ€™ll be walking job sites, completing scheduled tasks, and making sure equipment is cleaned and maintained daily.

o The team looks to you to keep things organized. Youโ€™ll help stock the jobs with required materials, complete all grading tasks such as lot scrapes, rough grades, and final grades to prepare for the landscape installation, manage job schedules, and keep the crew members organized and on task.

o You will assist the landscape team with installation tasks as needed when grading tasks are completed.

o The team looks to you for support. You find solutions for issues that come up among the staff and you make sure that team members have the training they need.

o You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

Job Requirements for Skid steer Operator - Landscape Installation Team

ยท Prior experience in the landscaping, skid steer operation, or similar service industries will be critical in order to lead a team.

ยท If you donโ€™t already have them, you must be willing to complete training to get all required certifications and licenses within 6 months, if required.

ยท Knowledge of city/county grading requirements

ยท Ability to read and operate a laser level in the filed


In addition, there are a few additional minimum requirements that are necessary to be considered for this position.

ยท Clean driving history with experience driving a truck and trailer

ยท Must have previous experience operating a skidsteer

ยท Must have a valid SC Drivers License
