Job description

Comanche Trace, located in Kerrville, TX, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Landscape Supervisor! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a professional, commercial landscape organization. This individual will lead a team of landscape specialists throughout the development. The scope of work will entail not only leading our landscapers through daily activities but also executing landscape projects. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay:
$25.00 per hour
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates knowledge in all aspects of landscape maintenance
  • Oversees all landscape maintenance crews
  • Directs and supervises landscape staff to ensure a high level of quality service
  • Assists crew members daily
  • Conducts training for field staff on all maintenance equipment and use techniques
  • Attends walkthroughs, as requested by homeowners, with foremen and the Manager
  • Works with the Manager to schedule labor, equipment, and materials to accomplish production schedules
  • Maintains a high level of quality control with a focus on bed maintenance
  • Responds to homeowner complaints in a manner that achieves excellent satisfaction
  • Reports on all issues with personnel, equipment, and homeowners to the Manager
  • Maintains adequate supply levels to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Ensures all work is completed in adherence to safety policies and guidelines
  • Investigates all accidents or safety violations with the Manager; prepares appropriate reports and takes action to correct and prevent future occurrences
  • Evaluates and advises homeowners on recommended treatments for plant diseases, insects, and soil-borne problems
  • Maintains a high level of housekeeping and care for company assets in the field, vehicles, landscape yard, and homeowner work sites
  • Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must have prior landscape maintenance experience
  • Able to direct and participate in the maintenance of the grounds
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance
Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
  • This is a physically demanding position; the Landscape Supervisor is expected to assist crew members daily
