Role and Responsibility 
The role of the Landscape Sales/ Design Representative is to provide an excellent client experience in the creation and execution of sales opportunities in landscape design, installation, and maintenance for new and current commercials and residential clients. 
Provide in-home and onsite consultations to gain a concept of the client needs and obtain specific details to create a comprehensive and easy to understand proposal for the client.
Conduct detailed site evaluations to determine soil type, slope, drainage, exposure, existing structures, features, roads, and utilities that may affect the project.
Ensure all estimates are prepared and approved as needed prior to presenting to the client.
Provide digital or hand rendered designs, illustrations, or graphics where applicable.
Design and sell custom residential landscapes, outdoor living spaces, garden and planting designs, lighting systems, and more to qualified homeowners. 
Assist the client with material selection and recommendations based on previous knowledge and experience and providing the best value for the clients budget at an optimal profit margin.
Present proposals to clients professionally while maximizing the customer experience to close the sale.
Provide timely and exceptional follow-ups throughout the sales and production process to ensure the process does not stall and the client is adequately informed. 
Maintain accurate records of leads, proposals, and pertinent communication in company-owned database. 
Prospect for new business by developing relationships with commercial builders, property developers. property managers, and small businesses. 
Plan and maintain strategies for warm and cold calling to adequately cover the market. 
Represent the company in various events, organizations, and industry related functions for the purposes of marketing to and building relationships with prospective clients.
Support the installation process by working with the production manager to ensure scheduling, quality, and client experience standards have been met. 
Work as a liaison to communicate specific project-related details, layout, and design intents and clearly understood between production staff and client. 
Be available for site visits, phone calls, or project meetings as needed throughout the production process. 
Provide customer walkthroughs with the client to ensure quality and satisfaction and have been achieved.
 
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education in a landscaping related field 
3 years of industry specific sales experience with proven record 
Valid drivers license with qualified record

This position requires a tenacious work ethic, persistence, and the ability to effectively close a sale. This position offers the opportunity to grow and succeed professionally as well as monetarily. The position will require long working hours including weekends when necessary.
