Landscape Architect

We are seeking a Landscape Architect to join our dynamic, multi-disciplined, full-service A/E firm. This role will support the planning and design of outdoor spaces and landscapes for a variety of project types, including civic, institutional, and commercial developments.The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in landscape architecture and a passion for creating functional, sustainable, and visually engaging environments. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and clients from concept through construction. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Capable and experienced in all areas of Landscape Architecture with an emphasis on park facilities, urban design, campus planning, public ROW improvements, public facilities, site grading, and site layout and parking improvements.
  • Experience producing site/landscape documents in an A/E firm
  • Experience using client design standards
  • Proficient using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Experience working in teams
  • Comfortable with a wide range of project types
  • Proactive and assertive in problem solving
  • Comfortable with making group presentations
  • Experience providing marketing and project interview support
  • Good written and oral communications skills; good client skills; fluent in speaking, reading and writing in English
RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assume the “day-to-day” responsibility for all Landscape Architecture Design, Production & Management
  • Prepare Landscape Architecture design studies, written design narratives, calculations, and analysis
  • Conduct field investigations as required to understand project requirements
  • Coordinate Landscape Architecture work with other discipline work
  • Prepare Landscape Architecture design and construction document drawings and direct Landscape Architecture support staff as required
  • Prepare outline and final construction document specifications
  • Maintain technical accuracy, constructability, code conformance, and appropriate level of detail for project scopes
  • Responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of landscape architecture design quality control process; provide or delegate review of all landscape architecture design for technical accuracy, constructability, code conformance, and appropriate level of detail.
  • Participate in value engineering; attend project team meetings
  • Assist with construction administration, review shop drawings, prepare construction submittals, participate in construction site observation, prepare Request for Information (RFI) responses, work with the construction administration department and other team members to resolve construction issues in a timely manner
