Position Overview
The Maintenance position inspects the facility for equipment,furnishings or other areas that are in need of repair. The position reports to the MaintenanceSupervisor.
Job Functions
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure public areas aremaintained.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Complete maintenance repairs andreplacement of items as required.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Complete repairs to ensurefacilities, furnishings and equipment are in good repair and in good workingorder.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide maintenance or repairs forexterior and grounds, including repair in parking lots, signage, painting,maintenance for equipment (eg; snowblowers, lawn mower etc.), gardening, andassisting with snow/ice removal.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure that work is done toregulations, standards and/or policies of the casino.
Requirements
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in maintenance andapplicable training.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Professional knowledge orcertification in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical equipment, watertreatment and landscaping (preferred).
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Experience in managing anddirecting the work of others.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Good client service skills.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Able to work independently, with minimaldirection.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Good English communication skills.
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Valid WHMIS certificate, familiarwith Health & Safety, fire and building codes.
Other Skills/Abilities
AÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Must be physically capable ofwalking or standing for long periods, some lifting, bending or other physicalactivities to complete work is required.
