Landscape Labor Project Manager/Nursery Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced Nursery Manager/ Landscape Labor Project Manager. The above manager will be responsible for overseeing all managerial functions including hiring and training nursery staff, as well as overseeing our planting project crews. You will also be responsible for ordering stock and responding to customer inquiries. You will also be required to grow and maintain trees, shrubs, and grasses.

Nursery responsibilities include:

- Overseeing and improving daily functions of the nursery

- Hiring and training nursery staff

- ordering nursery stock including soil, fertilizers, shrubs, plants and trees

- monitoring watering times, soil conditions and plant positions.

- monitoring weather conditions and paying special attention to hot or cold temperatures.

- responding to customer requests and assisting the nursery staff.

Planting Project Manager responsibilities include:

- supervise planting crew leaders on planting projects

- execute field work as needed

- coordinates with crew leaders regarding equipment and materials needed for each project.

- send daily jobsites via email to managers for all planting projects.

- attend pre-bids as needed.

Required:

- Ability to pass background screening

- must possess a valid driver's license, and pass driving record screening.

- ability to pass drug screening

Preferred:

- must possess computer skills included office/ outlook

- must be familiar with Plant ID's

- 1+ year nursery experience

Salary:

- Depending on Knowledge/experience
