Job description

The Wholesale Nursery Manager is a full-time, on-site job based in Madison, CT. This position assists with daily nursery operations, including plant production, inventory management, and order fulfillment. The manager collaborates with leadership to plan seasonal production, oversees work crew tasks, and monitors plant health and condition.

Qualifications

  • Relevant education or training in horticulture, agriculture, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience in nursery or landscape operations.
  • Strong Communication skills to motivate team members.
  • Practical understanding of horticulture, including care of dwarf conifers, rhododendron, native plants, and other flowering shrubs.
