Smart Choice is a full-service landscape company specializing in commercial and high-end residential landscapes. Serving the South Florida community for over 20 years, Smart Choice has built its reputation on providing excellent service, quality workmanship, and environmental awareness.
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Operations Manager to oversee daily field operations, coordinate landscape crews, maintain service quality, and ensure our clients receive exceptional service. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone with strong landscaping knowledge who can effectively manage people, schedules, equipment, and multiple properties in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate multiple landscape crews and daily field operations.
  • Plan and monitor crew schedules, routes, staffing, equipment, and materials.
  • Ensure landscape maintenance work is completed efficiently, safely, on schedule, and according to company standards.
  • Conduct regular property walk-throughs and quality-control inspections.
  • Identify service issues and ensure they are corrected promptly.
  • Communicate with clients, property managers, HOA representatives, crew leaders, and office staff regarding property needs and service issues.
  • Supervise, coach, and support crew leaders and field employees.
  • Ensure crews have the proper equipment and materials to perform their work.
  • Monitor proper use and maintenance of company vehicles, tools, and equipment.
  • Coordinate landscape enhancements, installations, and special projects when needed.
  • Complete required reports and paperwork and communicate operational updates to management.
  • Promote a company culture focused on safety, quality, accountability, integrity, and customer service.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in the landscaping industry or horticulture is required.
  • Landscape management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of tropical plants and South Florida landscaping.
  • Experience coordinating multiple landscape crews in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • English and Spanish required.

  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic and willingness to lead by example.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Experience with landscape equipment and maintenance is preferred.
