Position Summary
The GSOC Manager is responsible for the leadership, performance, and continuous improvement of Global Security Operations Center activities supporting high-profile clients, properties, and protective operations programs. This role oversees GSOC personnel, security technology platforms, incident response protocols, reporting processes, and client service delivery while ensuring operational excellence and compliance with established standards.
The ideal candidate is a strategic security professional with strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and experience managing security teams in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and develop GSOC personnel, ensuring consistent performance, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Manage day-to-day GSOC operations supporting multiple properties, principals, and security programs.
  • Oversee monitoring and response activities involving alarms, CCTV systems, access control platforms, and other security technologies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate incident management, escalation, reporting, and after-action review processes.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), post orders, and operational best practices.
  • Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability reviews, and security program evaluations, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between GSOC operations, protective services teams, clients, vendors, and local emergency services.
  • Monitor operational metrics and prepare reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for leadership and clients.
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, onboarding, and quality assurance initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
  • Support emergency response, crisis management, and business continuity efforts as required.
  • Maintain operational readiness and proper functionality of all security systems, communications platforms, and technology utilized within the GSOC.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Minimum 5+ years of security operations, GSOC, intelligence, law enforcement, military, or corporate security experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of supervisory or management experience leading security operations teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage personnel, prioritize competing demands, and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Strong understanding of security technologies including CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, communications systems, and incident management platforms.
  • Experience developing SOPs, operational workflows, and security program improvements.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and report-writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage clients and executive stakeholders.
  • Florida Class D Security License.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and multi-platform security operating environments.

Preferred
  • Experience with the GENETEC Security Center platform.
  • Experience supporting executive protection or high-net-worth client programs.
  • Data analysis and security metrics reporting experience.
  • Crisis management, emergency response, or business continuity planning experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Emergency Management, or a related field. Industry certifications such as PSP, CPP, CSMP, or equivalent.

Work Environment
This position is based in Palm Beach until Jan 2027. This role will be based in Miami, Florida starting in Jan 2027. The GSOC Manager must be available to support operations during critical incidents, emergencies, and special events as needed. Occasional travel between locations may be required.
