RP Marzilli has been installing and maintaining New England's finest residential landscapes since 1985. We are currently seeking landscape professionals who have a passion for managing the landscape maintenance within a portfolio of large, high end residential estates. The Account Manager is responsible for managing client relationships, ensuring high standards of quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction. This is a key client-facing role that blends operations, sales, and horticultural expertise into a fast-paced, high-expectation environment. This role also has a strong emphasis on leadership and team management.
Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 annually. This position is also eligible for commission earnings, with an earning potential of $115,000+ total compensation. Total compensation will vary based on qualifications, experience, and achievement of sales targets.
Responsibilities:
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with highly satisfied clients to ensure longevity of client base.
  • Generate ideas, estimate, propose and sell value added enhancement projects to better improve the function and aesthetics of your clients' properties
  • Work closely with Operations to coordinate a diverse mix of maintenance and enhancement work within your portfolio
  • Procure materials and supplies for your crews and clients as necessary
  • Responsible for financial management of portfolio including timely and accurate billings and collections
  • Complete, process and approve paperwork with high accuracy for crew time sheets, materials receipts, and subcontractor invoices
  • Quality control for all work in your assigned portfolio
  • Ensure smooth transition from construction to maintenance

General Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with estate gardening and client interaction
  • Exceptional level of detail with a willingness to learn and blend with a division high on culture and team work
  • Customer service oriented and drive to maintain a portfolio of highly satisfied customers
  • Exceptionally high standard for safety
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • High level of professionalism and the ability to represent the RP Marzilli brand within the company and in the public eye
  • Computer proficient with experience in the Microsoft Office suite and ability to learn and utilize other programs as necessary
  • Preferred degree in Plant Science, Horticulture, Arboriculture, Soil Science, Landscape Contracting, Landscape Architecture, Forestry, Turf, Biology, Plant Pathology, Plant Physiology or equivalent field experience
