Responsibilities

The Governance and Change Management Lead is a strategic leader responsible for establishing and maintaining robust governance frameworks and driving effective change management across the organization. This role ensures that all projects and transformation initiatives are delivered efficiently, within scope and budget, and with a focus on continuous improvement and stakeholder engagement. This role ensures that the organization not only delivers projects efficiently and reliably but also adapts to change, drives transformation, and maintains strategic alignment. By combining governance discipline with change leadership, the Governance and Change Management Lead supports sustainable growth, operational excellence, and a resilient organizational culture.

  • Enables consistent, disciplined project delivery through process, governance, and structured execution.
  • Plays a critical role in shaping project portfolio strategy and aligning initiatives with organizational priorities. Partner with leadership to ensure projects support strategic goals and drive long-term value for the business, leverages insights and proactive planning to steer execution in a way that enhances both operational excellence and strategic impact.
  • Oversee and ensure that various marketing projects are completed on or ahead of schedule by implementing disciplined project management practices and monitoring progress against established timelines.
  • Manage project budgets, ensuring financial controls are in place and projects are delivered within approved budgets.
  • Track and manage deviations from initial SGM requirements, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and minimizing scope creep.
  • Assess and optimize the allocation and utilization of project staff and resources across teams, ensuring efficiency and readiness for change.
  • Lead the identification, escalation, and rapid resolution of risks and issues, fostering a proactive and resilient project environment.
  • Provide leadership with an aggregated view of all ongoing projects' health (on-track, at-risk, etc.), enabling data-driven decision-making and prioritization.
  • Champions change management by developing effective communication strategy, stakeholder engagement, and launching new tools and structures that are easily adoptable by the Marketing team.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure all projects and change initiatives support strategic organizational goals and long-term value creation for Marketing.
  • Coach and mentor teams on governance, project management, and change management best practices to enhance organizational maturity, team unity and cohesive approach.
  • Identifies and builds strategic relationships with key stakeholders across SGMs and Growth office. Understands their planning, processes, tools and other requirements for collaborating in identifying valuable solutions.
  • Leads the Delivery Management function, managing a large dynamic team of Marketing professionals, and is accountable for overall performance and strategic direction including resource planning and delivery quality. 
  • Develop trainings tools/methodologies to assist the team in defining future marketing priorities and effectively manage culture transformation to achieve the end results.

Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of experience in project management and change management.
  • Bachelor's degree in management, finance or related discipline, master's degree preferred.
  • Solid experience defining delivery strategy and leading the successful deployment of large-scale programs and/or projects.
  • Strong experience in leading bigger teams and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in leading projects and the team in a highly paced environment through change.
  • Strong understanding with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle and change management.
  • Able to work effectively at all levels of an organization, organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics.
  • Proven experience in project governance, change management, or a related leadership role.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex portfolios.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of Agile methodology and experience in Workfront are preferred
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $97,600 to $200,600.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
