POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for supporting all aspects of hotel
operations, including daily staff management, guest and employee satisfaction, human
resources, financial performance, cost control, and sales and revenue generation. This role
assists the General Manager in driving the strategic vision and implementation of both
Vista Host and brand-wide initiatives, focusing on exceeding guest expectations and
building relationships with key customers.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain unparalleled guest service as the core philosophy of the hotel.
• Personally demonstrate a commitment to guest service by responding to guest
needs promptly and professionally.
• Ensure all team members are trained to meet service standards and deliver superior
guest service.
• Empower team members to provide responsive guest assistance and reward
exceptional performance.
• Manage human resources functions including recruiting, training, and performance
evaluations.
• Oversee finance and accounting functions, ensuring proper cost controls are in
place.
• Foster a positive and cooperative work environment, promoting clear
communication between staff and management.
• Implement property-wide strategies to improve guest satisfaction, operational
efficiency, and revenue generation.
• Cover shifts in all departments as needed to maintain optimal labor standards.
• Provide a professional image through personal appearance and behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbally.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
• 3+ years of experience in hotel operations or management.
• Strong management, leadership, and time management skills
